UKOUG – Call for Papers now open

Doug already mentioned it and today I got the official invite to send in a paper.

Dear All,

I would like to make you aware that the UKOUG 2008 Call for Papers has
now commenced. Thank you to all those who have supported the UKOUG by
presenting at our SIG meetings, Special Events and the Annual
Conference.

The Event: UKOUG 2008 Conference and Exhibition
The Date: 1st – 5th December 2008
The Location: The International Convention Centre, Birmingham

Over 2,800 attendees came to see a record number of high quality
presentations at last year’s event, and with your assistance and
contribution, we aim to make UKOUG 2008 an even greater success.

This year we would like to emphasise the need for a balanced mixture of
presentations with beginner, immediate and expert content.

Don’t forget submissions must be received no later than Friday 9th May
for voting and selection to be carried out by the Conference paper
selection committee. Notification of whether the paper has been selected
will be received from mid-July to mid-august. All rejections will be
sent out at the end of August.

So if you want to present, put in a decent paper / abstract.
