I have been trying a few times, ODTUG and EOUG this year, and I almost had the idea that presenting about a topic like “Oracle XMLDB from a DBA / architecture perspective” was currently still to obscure a topic to be worthy for conference.
I was wrong 😉 Third time lucky.
Today I got the confirmation for presenting at UKOUG 2007, Birmingham.

Subject: UKOUG 2007 – Speaker ConfirmationDear Marco,
Thank you for submitting your abstract, “XMLDB: building blocks and best practices”, to present at UKOUG 2007, in Birmingham.
I am delighted to confirm that you have been selected for inclusion within the programme to present on Wednesd 5th December for a 45 minute sess.
Despite it will be a challenge to present for a larger audience, I am delighted putting myself on the test.
Probably I am allowed to present on the Dutch “Sinterklaas” day if the time and date given in the UKOUG speakerlounge holds:
M. Gralike – “XMLDB: Building Blocks and Best Practices” (05/12/2007 09:00-09:45)
Congratualtions! I, too, was happily surprised to get accepted. I’m presenting on Day -1.
Looking forward to it and your presentation.
